1. Describe in detail what you plan to do for your 30 hours.
What I plan on doing is taking part in various pet adoptions that my shelter host. I don't only have to do it for my shelter I can also look for other pet adoptions that other shelters host. Pet adoptions can last for different amounts of time. For example, I am helping out in a pet adoption this Saturday and Sunday for about more than 15 hours. What I will be doing is help set up the adopt, help bring in the dog to the location of the event, provide information about the dogs, a bit of paper work, help maintain the area clean, and cleaning up. I'm sure I will be doing more than I listed because there is always something to do.
2. Discuss how or what you will do to meet the expectations of showing 30 hours of evidence.
What I can do to show that I did the 30 hours of service by one taking pictures. Another way I can show my evidence by getting flyers, papers, etc. I can also film videos of the events and I can edit them to make it sort of like a short film.
3. Explain how or what you will be doing to help you explore your topic in more depth.
These pet adoptions I know for a fact show me how dogs react in a totally different environment. But I will also get to see more human to dog interaction and how it effects them. This will not only show me more about dog behavior, it shows me how shelters work during pet adoptions (like how do they get people to adopt dogs and cats?!).
4. Update your Senior Project log
I will be updating my Senior Project log after every pet adoption I do. I will try to be as consistent as I can.
Make sure you keep a log of what happens each day!
